Sightseeings
On this page I will share the most impressive sightseeings I've seen during my trip! I'll explain to you why you need to visit them when you're in the city!
Number 1: Palau Nacional, Barcelona

This is the National Art Gallery in Barcelona. A though climb up the Montjuïc Hill will lead you to this museum with a lot of Romanesque Art and art from the Renaissance. There is also a room full of Modern Art and art from the Baroque.

The view from the top of the Montjuïc Hill is also breathtaking and something worth experiencing. A view as wide as the city goes. Something I could stare at forever.

Number 2: Casa de las Conchas, Salamanca

'The house with the shells' is the translation of this building. When you see the building you understand why. On the outside it is filled with shells and originally it was build as a palace for the city. Later on it was mostly used as a prison for the university next to it. Since 1993 it serves as the library of the city. A lot of students come there to study and read but tourists like to visit it as well because of the impressive appearance.

As you can see on the picture on the left, the house is filled on all the sides with shells.
Number 3: La Sagrada Familia, Barcelona
La Sagrada Familia, who doesn't think of it when you say Barcelona. A project that started in 1882 and won't be finished until 2026, at least, that's the plan. Even though it isn't done yet, it is worth taking a look at the, already, massive building with impressive towers.

Number 4: Las Arenas de Barcelona

As you might notice, I like views. This one is also with a beautiful view and you can walk around to see the whole city, from the Montjuïc Hill to the radio mast on the other side of the city.

It is a shopping centre with cinema and restaurants. Five levels high and the possibility to go to the top for only one euro. At the top you can walk around and enjoy the city. I would definitely recommend this if you're in Barcelona.
Number 5: La ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias
The city of art and science, but not only the museum is impressive, the buildings itself attract a lot of visitors as well. As you can see in the pictures below, one of the buildings ('l Hemispheric) has an eye-shape and once it is opened you can see the ball in the middle. If you stand in front of it, the water reflects it and it looks like a complete eye.

The Palau de les Arts is another part of the city of art and science with an majestic view. It is definitely an eye-catcher when you arrive at this place. This giant building is usually used for opera-shows.
Next to these two buildings there are four more other buildings with an unusual look. All of them combined form a special visit which will be remembered, for sure.
